Colour Inspiration Part 2

Mint Macaron, Petal Pink and Highland Heather are from our Subtles Collection. Because they are similar tones, they compliment eachother really nicely. For a bolder look, you could use Gorgeous Grape instead of Highland Heather.

My next inspiration was a photo my mom sent to me. It was a card using the Baby Wipe Technique. I haven’t done that technique in a long time so figured it was time!

For the technique:

1. Fold two baby wipes together and place them on a tile coaster (or a dish or plate. Just something so your work surface doesn’t get wet).
2. Use your reinkers and drop random spots on the baby wipe. You need a large enough area for the size of stamp you are planning to use. (My wipes are folded in quarters)
3. I am using this technique to fill in an outline image so I stamped my outline images first.
4. “Ink” up your stamp on your wipe and then stamp on your card stock.
5. Every time you ink, your stamped image will look different and I love the watercolour effect using these three colours!

If you want to try this technique and don’t have reinkers, please use the Host Code VPQBM2EY when placing your order so I can send you a thank you gift 🎁

Now I know what you’re thinking, that looks like a hot mess! But trust me, it looks amazing once stamped!

Here are all my butterflies stamped. The outline image is stamped in Highland Heather.

Here are my butterflies punched out!! Don’t they look cool 👌

Tomorrow I will post my finished card.

Happy Stamping Everyone!
